The Roads & Bridges Department has 30 full time employees. These employees are responsible for the mowing and maintenance of 375 miles of paved roads and 315 miles of dirt roads. This consists of mowing, grading, pipe installation and general maintenance of county roadways. The Solid Waste Department has two full time employees that operate the two garbage trucks the county owns. They are responsible for maintaining 32 dumpsites located throughout the county. They also are responsible for dumping the dumpsters at 50 private businesses. For a total of 325 dumpsters throughout the county. |
