The Environmental Department is responsible for eliminating illegal dumping of garbage at the dumpsites that are in Grady County and also for littering the roads and streams and private property. The Department is responsible for checking the Tire Dealers of Grady County to make sure that they are keeping record of the tires that they deal with. The following is a list of the violations for illegal dumping and littering in Grady County.

• Depositing Prohibited Items Min of $270.00 - Max of $675.00
• Depositing Trash on Ground $202.50
• Dumping on land of others $270.00
• Littering $405.00
• Retrieving items from dumpster $101.25
• Child retrieving items from dumpster $202.50 
      Also can be charged with Child Endangerment
• Use of Trash Bins by out of county residents $337.50
      Out of County People will also have to be carried to county jail and post a cash bond and vehicle will be impounded
• Dumping of tires anywhere is a felony
      A warrant will be taken on offender
• Setting Fire to Dumpster $810.00
      Can be charged with arson

You must carry used tires back to a tire dealer.
